The official plot of the film involves a deep cover operative (Van Damme) who awakens one day to find himself imprisoned in a C.I.A. black site that is located on a moving submarine. We don't know much else about the movie but the reports are saying that Van Damme and Lundgren will be on the same side for the first time in a movie which is awesome news. The film will start shooting in January and there is word that Mobile, Alabama will be one shooting location.
Black Water was written by Action-Flix's favorite writer Chad Law who is responsible for 2016's coolest action film Daylight's End. Chad also wrote the film 6 Bullets back in 2012 that also starred Van Damme. Mann was pumpt mein Filmherz gerade...freue mich jetzt schon drauf. Lehmann und Rettinghaus müssen es werden. Jedenfalls solange Willis nicht auftaucht.
Ist übrigens nach Universal Soldier (1992), Universal Soldier Regeneration (2009), The Expendables 2 (2012) und Universal Soldier: Day of Reckoning (2012) die fünfte Zusammenarbeit der beiden. :)
